This role requires a candidate with excellent attention to detail, advanced level excel and confident, clear and concise communication skills. The role works closely with the business and supports sales and category specialists with pricing techniques, and initiatives. 40% of this role is data management
Knowledge and Experience Required · Experience of data input, numerical processing and ability to problem solve · High levels of accuracy · Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with others, at all levels · Works well under pressure and to meet deadlines · Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative · Advanced MS Excel skills · Knowledge of sales order processing systems i.e. Pathworks, Movex desirable · Positive 'can do' attitude · Well organised and methodical · Ability to interpret figures and statistics · Good attention to detail · Logical and analytical approach · Fluent in German essential
Key Tasks · Through liaison with Regional Sales teams, ensure that accurate and relevant pricing data / files are received by external customers within agreed timescales. · Manage and accurately maintain pricing data within the database in accordance with agreed timescales. · Build internal and external relationships and takes ownership of customer issues and price queries, ensuring they are resolved seamlessly within targeted timescales. · Responsible for ensuring all requests for system changes are supported with all the appropriate justification, correctly authorised & actioned. · Ensure pricing history and scanned records are visible and up to date, allowing for analysis as and when necessary. · Proactively highlight any Pricing issues and ensure any pricing anomalies are resolved as a matter of urgency. · Produce market / customer analysis as requested to assist internal customers. · Assist Line Manager with improving pricing procedures to ensure they continue to meet business/market needs. · Proactively work with all business areas on project work. · Helps monitor the team workload, proactively taking actions to ensure team objectives are met. · Any additional tasks as requested by line management. · Ensure full compliance to Sarbanes Oxley and all Company Standards & Regulations with regard to Health, Safety and the Environment.
