ACCOUNTABILITIES
Our client is currently seeking an Account Executive to capitalize on the company's momentum in the UK. This position is a high-profile growth opportunity that demands a highly motivated individual with strong sales, communications and organizational skills that is eager to learn and become part of a rapidly growing company.
The Account Executive will generate new business sales revenue from software licenses and professional services. This will be achieved by territory planning, researching prospect customers, using business development techniques and field-based sales activities within the retail sector.
Responsibilities
Achieve new business sales quotas within the Retail industry on a quarterly and annual basis by
· Developing a sales strategy and territory plan with a target prospect list and a regional sales plan. · Developing marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth. · Lead generation follow up. · Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams. · Arranging and conducting initial discovery meetings, product demonstrations and presentations. · Sales process management and opportunity closure. · Contract preparation. · Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and to drive additional revenue streams. · Being the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future Private Label roadmap to drive the solution within the marketplace.
Experience Required
· New business sales focus within the Retail and Manufacturing industries. · Previous sales experience gained within software or IT sales organization. · Experience in selling enterprise solutions to the retail sector. · Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets. · Commercially astute. · Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers. · Degree educated or equivalent.
