Our client based in central St Albans is expanding their helpdesk team with the recruit of an additional experienced 1st line support specialist. The hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730 hours. NO WEEKENDS AND NO SHIFTS Job title Customer Support (Fluent French) Key Tasks
· Provision of 1st line support for customers and 2nd line when needed · Understand clients issues, replicate and resolve problems · Ensure accurate logging of problems and timely solutions provided · Ensure non-customer facing staff understand the impact of issues by representing the external customer, internally. · Foster and maintain working relationships with allocated retailers/manufacturers to keep T1 informed and up to date of issues · Adhere to all Service Level Agreements. · Support any testing for Quality Assurance · Take initiative in resolving product related issues on the Helpdesk · Contribute to writing documentation for PLM knowledge base
Key Personal Skills · Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including being able to explain subjects in a logical and methodical manner, as demonstrated through training one-to-one and classroom style · High level of verbal analytical ability, sufficient to understand complex requirements, identify problems, seek relevant data, recognise inpartial information and the ability · Excellent inter-personal skills, being to engage, motivate and involve people at to all levels within a business to diagnose the possible causes of the problem § High numeric and word literacy with a high level of accuracy in written presentation. § Good organisational, ability to plan, track tasks. Deliver to agreed timescales § Flexible and hands-on approach to work § Self starter, adaptable, with ability to work on own § Team Player § Must be fluent in both English and French
Key Attributes & Experience § Ideally experience working within a Technical support environment or Food Retail environment § Ideally demonstrate sound knowledge of commercial and technical business operations within the food Industry § Proven track record of successful achievements § Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships. § Ability to interpret customer needs § Sound understanding of IT (Microsoft Applications, Operating Systems) § Ability to speak French is essential
