ACCOUNTABILITIES

My client, a leading healthcare provider based near St. Albans, requires an experienced Events & Marketing Coordinator to join a successful Business Development Team. The role will be to support the Business Development Manager with the delivery of the marketing strategy and promotional plan.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Liaison with GP practices, consultants and other referral sources to promote new developments and service offerings
· Assist in managing marketing resources to ensure continual promotion by working closely with other managers and internal staff
· To lead/assist with managing general marketing activities
· Negotiation and development of advertising from inception to completion
· Updating client mailings and newsletters
· Organisation and attendance of hospital events and open days/evenings
· Dealing with press releases and other PR functions
· Deal with general pricing and payment enquiries
· Involvement in corporate and local advertising campaigns
· Liaise with Head office regarding marketing literature ad issues
· Control of stock and reproduction of marketing literature
· General office duties to include opening the mail and dealing with internal and external enquires

Candidate Requirements
· General marketing and event management experience
· Excellent telephone manner
· Experience of budgeting and forecasting
· Experience and understanding of media purchasing
· Experience of working with external marketing agencies
· Organisation skills with ability to manage time and prioritise
· Enthusiastic and persuasive communication skills
